KoolKidKalvo x DVME Collab Project On The Way
“Hocus Pocus” is the first single from KoolKidKalvo and DVME’s upcoming EP. Released in anticipation of their most recent show in the Bay Area, this song is a TFM family affair as the production is tag teamed by DVME and Julian Avila. The chill keys and laidback drums match Kalvo’s cool-headed persona with an easy loop to ride to. More details have yet to be revealed by either artist, but if it’s anything like this single, the project is sure to be filled with Kalvo’s signature smooth metaphors and DVME’s timeless production. Never one to waste time on anything that doesn’t contribute to his bank account, Kalvo easily delivers motivation that anyone can throw on repeat. His mellow vocals humbly speak about his come-up, while DVME’s loop makes it seem as if it’s easy. The “Hocus Pocus” visual, shot and directed by Miggs, perfectly matches the late-night vibe the single gives off.

The city’s nightlife depicts a cool down from his busy life on the west coast. If you can’t see where the kid is coming from, Miggs’ night vision has you covered. The director’s TV-like VHS overlays subconsciously persuade viewers to tune into Kalvo’s blooming career. Between shows, music drops and the reveal of his brand, The Koolest, the artist has had a jammed-packed schedule this fall. Judging by his bars, he’s not slowing down anytime soon.
